YA: Help
What if we said this word out loud:
Help.
What if we needed something, and let people know we needed it?
Help isn’t something we like to let into our lives. Many cultures across the world are unfriendly to weakness of any kind. Friendship, family, and the church are supposed to be different places…safe places where we can get help, give help, share the help of a Savior, Who tells us we all needed some saving, some help.
We might need to sit with some uncomfortable emotions. We might need to cry a little, say something hard, let someone see our cracks and bruises, but wouldn’t like be more manageable? Wouldn’t life be better sharing the load?
We all have stuff.
We all need help.
Who do you turn to when you identify a need? Where do you go when you feel anxious, sad, lonely, confused, hurt, or angry?
In today’s podcast episode, we identify our true Help and let Him inform us of what we need and where we can get it, and the result when we let the help in.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns. - Psalm 46:5
