Always Growing in Resilience

January 24, 2021 by Heidi Goehmann in bible study, mental health

Life will kick you while you’re down. But God builds inside of us the ability to get back up.

While resilience is something we experience inside of us, an internal capacity to recover and gain insights and new hope in the struggle, we may not be able to do it alone. That’s ok. We don’t have to. God reaches His hand out to us and lifts our heads. He sends people into our lives to reach their hands out as well. Together we build resilience better.

The third Always Growing video is intended to help us gather around the Word of God to grow in resilience for this life. Resilience recognizes that the struggle will come and wrestling has its place. So, what is this things called resilience? In the video, we’ll look at defining resilience, finding resilience in our lives, and where God grows is growing us in resilience.

Always Growing in Relationship has three segments focused on God’s strength and resilience, what eternity has to do with resilience, and finding the resilience in the past, but also seeing more clearly in the future.

The Always Growing videos include special guest, Heather Reusch, life advocate and author.
